Upcoming Election - Boulder Colorado

  • by: DavidThi808

We have an actual election going on here right now. One of the Boulder City Council members, Tom Eldridge (very good councilmember), recently passed away. So mail in voting is presently going on to elect one of 14 candidates to take his seat – until November (when it is up for election again).

Here are my posts on the election (The favorite entry remains the one about their answers on what they would want on a deserted island – truly dumb from some candidates.)

I have been writing about it in my blog Liberal and Loving It. Rather than post the same copy here, I am just listing the various posts.

And yes, in Boulder how to handle Prairie dogs is truly one of the top issues in this election (and the past 4 or so). We may have close to a 50% drop-out rate in the schools in the poorer parts of town, but we will expend every effort to protect every last rodent — if they’re cute (to the tune of over $500,000.00).
